Many thousands of citizens have sacrificed, left their jobs and dedicated their time, to the Occupy Movement. Participants in the movement believe they have achieved significant success in changing the conversation about the current crisis in the America. They cite President Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address and the campaign to pass the so-called Buffet Rule to guarantee fairness in taxation. They admit the movement has angered its opponents but hope that it will achieve more if it endures through the November 2012 presidential election.
